Monday through Friday Play Sessions:
7:00am, 8:30am, 10:30am, 12:30pm and 2:30pm.
Saturday Play Sessions:
8:30am, 10:30am, 12:30pm, and 2:30pm
Sundays Play Sessions:
10:30am and 12:30pm
Each session ends 15 minutes before the start of the next one to allow for a reset and wipe down.

$12 per child for a drop in play session.
Children under 6 months and over 7 years are free.
Monthly memberships start at $49 for one child

Yes! Rather than paying every session, Blue Jay members pay a monthly fee to come play as often as they like! If you plan to come more than 4 times a month, it is definitely worth it! Memberships also include one free drink per month, one free Bring-a-Friend pass per month, and a discount on parties and events! Click here to become a Blue Jay member!

Our capacity is approximately 15 children at a time for open play. Our staff is trained to cap capacity based on the feeling of the space.

Socks or barefoot, please! If you have socks with grips on the bottom, even better. Shoes must be left in cubbies in the lounge area. This helps us keep our space clean and safe, especially for our littlest guests who crawl and scoot around.

Good question. No, we do not offer child care. It is the caretaker's responsibility to be supervising their child's safety at all times.

Guests without children are welcome to purchase a drink to-go or shop our retail section for a gift. However, Blue Jay Play Cafe is a safe space designated for children and their caretakers. Because of this, only guests with children can access the play space. We reserve the right to kindly ask anyone to leave. One child is allowed up to two adults to accompany them in the play area. Additional adults who do not have children playing will be asked to pay a “special guest” fee of $6, or we ask that they at least purchase a drink from the cafe :)

The sweet spot for our open play space is 6 months to 6 years old.
Children 6 months and younger are free.
Children 7 years and older are also welcome to play! We do not have an age limit for the play space. Often older children enjoy the imaginary play as well! We just ask that they are kind and mindful around the younger kids and be good leaders by following the rules. (No running, no throwing, no rough housing, etc.) We also have board games and puzzles available for the older children in the seating area.

SCHEDULING & CANCELLATIONS

Yes, absolutely! Because of our booking system, we can’t always guarantee a spot. It’s a good idea to call ahead and check if there is space available or check our social media for updates! But best practice is to always book ahead of time!

You can always call or text ahead to check if there are any openings for the play space (910) 803-1448.

We understand that things come up! Feel free to cancel your booking any time, but please try to do it as far ahead of time as possible to give others the opportunity to come and play!

We are happy to issue refunds for cancellations placed ahead of time. Call, text, or email us at least 1 hour before your scheduled session to cancel, and we can help you rebook or refund you if you don’t know when you’ll be back.
If you miss your session without cancelling, we will not issue a refund.

No outside food or drinks may be brought into the play space or cafe. We have a menu featuring snacks, baked goods, and alllllll the coffee drinks. You're welcome to bring a water bottle or sippy cup.
For events and parties, hosts are allowed to bring their own food, but only with the approval of cafe owner. We don't want anything too messy in the cafe :)

We ask that all food be kept in the cafe seating area. This will help keep our play space clean and safe for all of our guests.
Parents, you're welcome to carry your drinks into the play space so that you can sip and play at the same time. Just be sure to keep an eye on your drinks & away from little fingers!
FOOD & DRINK
HEALTH & CLEANING POLICIES

Our play sessions run for 1 hour and 45 minutes. This allows our play attendants a 15 minute window between sessions to clean and disinfect the space before the next group comes in.
We have Yuck Bins located throughout the play space. In the event that a child places a toy in their mouth, please place that toy in one of our Yuck Bins. Staff will clean and disinfect toys in these bins regularly.

Keeping our guests healthy is a top priority. Children and adults will be turned away if they show signs of sickness (fever, cough, runny nose, etc.)
We get it, kiddos get colds and bugs. Please do your part and stay home if you're not feeling well.

Private Party Rentals cost $400. A non-refundable deposit of 50% will be due at the time of booking. The remainder of the deposit will be due the day of the party. You can learn more and book your private rental here.

We require all parties be booked ahead of time through our website. We offer time slots on the weekends, but if you would like to book a weekday, we are happy to try and accommodate if possible. Any one who attempts to have a party without booking first will be asked to leave immediately.

You are welcome to cancel your party at any time; however, the deposit is non-refundable. The deposit can be used as credit toward your next Blue Jay event!

Unfortunately, no. We ask that no adults climb on the climber.

Of course! Blue Jay Play Cafe is a breastfeeding friendly facility.

Please use one of the bathrooms to change any diapers. We've got extra supplies on hand, so if you run out of wipes or diapers, just ask and a member of our staff will be able to help. ❤️ For the sanitation of our other guests, please do not change diapers in the open play space.
